Corporate Responsibility

Our Commitment

Our commitment to ethics and compliance is an essential aspect and core value of how we do business globally. We have taken a five step approach to ensure that respect for human rights and the protection of the environment are priority considerations in the operation of our business:

  • Involve: Ensure employees, officers and directors are actively involved in the design and execution of policies and procedures that guide ethical business conduct.

  • Educate: Maintain awareness and ownership through communication and training.

  • Execute: Conduct our business in compliance with the Radisys Code of Conduct and Ethics and legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Improve: Continuously work to improve our policies and business practices and keep them updated and current to ensure they effectively support our commitment.

  • Comply: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Code of Conduct and Ethics

The Radisys Code of Conduct and Ethics is a statement of the principles and expectations that guide ethical business conduct at our company. The Code is an extension of our values and the foundation of our business, and it reflects our shared commitment to ethical business practices and legal and regulatory compliance. Adherence to the principles in the Code is an expectation for all employees, officers, directors, contractors, suppliers or other agents of the company.

ISO Certification and Compliance

The Radisys Hillsboro site is certified and registered to ISO9001:2015 standards through SAI Global. The following document is the Radisys ISO9001:2015 Certificate of Registration.

RoHS Statement

The following document is the Radisys Declaration of Conformity indicating RoHS compliance for all Radisys Products. All applicable Radisys branded Hardware Products in production are compliant with the latest RoHS directives with any allowed exemptions as described in the declaration.

Conflict Minerals

Tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold are minerals widely used in the manufacture of electronic and telecommunications equipment, including many of our products. Trade of these minerals originating from the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining country, in some instances, is helping to directly or indirectly benefit armed groups causing serious social and environmental issues. The minerals involved are called conflict minerals.

We are committed to sourcing components and materials from companies that share our values regarding respect for human rights, integrity and environmental responsibility.

Our Radisys Code of Conduct and Ethics requires all of our suppliers to have in place due diligence measures that will enable us to reasonably assure that products and components supplied to us do not contain minerals that directly or indirectly benefit armed groups.

In 2012, the first legal requirements related to conflict minerals were finalized in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) guidelines on Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010. In accordance with these requirements, we have filed Form SD with the SEC which includes our Conflict Minerals Report. Our due diligence measures are outlined within the report.

Compliance Hotline

The success of our commitment to ethics and compliance depends on employees and third parties being confident enough to raise ethical questions and concerns without fear of retaliation. Several options are available for reporting suspected violations of law or company policy. Employees are encouraged to initially raise issues with their direct manager. Anyone wishing to submit an anonymous report can use the compliance hotline, EthicsPoint, where permitted under local law.

The EthicsPoint compliance hotline is globally accessible, however; local laws may limit the types of matters for which the hotline is used in certain countries. Regardless of location, persons wishing to report a suspected violation of law or policy may do so by sending an email to compliancehotline@radisys.com.

Incidents can be reported anonymously through our secure website at EthicsPoint – Radisys.
